Freedom Skills: How Soft Skills Unlocked My True Independence- Sylveena Dutta

Date:

In a world that often measures success by degrees and titles, she found her greatest transformation not in a certificate, but in the courage to speak up.

Growing up, her world was confined to the four walls of home. She was shy, self-conscious, and constantly told she wasn’t “smart enough.” Her voice rarely found the space it deserved—muted by the fear of being judged, body shamed, or mocked.

But destiny had other plans.
One opportunity changed everything—Frankfinn, then the leading institute for Air Hostess and Hospitality training. There, she discovered more than presentation skills and etiquette; she discovered herself.

Freedom Skills: How Soft Skills Unlocked My True Independence

“At Frankfinn, I learned to stand tall, face the world, and most importantly—believe in myself. That’s when I first acquired what I now call Freedom Skills.”

The Turning Point

Her career took off with her first job, followed by years of experience in customer service, personality development, and internal corporate training. She worked relentlessly—often going the extra mile. But when she aspired to become a certified trainer, she was overlooked.

After 11 years of dedication, she realised her wings had been clipped. The corporate cage was too small for her growing vision. She walked away.

The Question That Changed Everything

On 28th March 2024, she asked herself:
“What is my greatest strength, and how can it become a source of hope for others?”

The answer came instantly—Training and Coaching.

She transitioned into a Soft Skills Coach, but she redefined the term. For her, they are Freedom Skills—life-long abilities that make you adaptable, confident, and independent.

“Freedom Skills make you versatile, like water—needed everywhere, adaptable to anything.”

The Birth of The Skills Mentorship

On 28th August 2025, she founded The Skills Mentorship—a learning and mentorship ecosystem designed to empower people with the very skills that had freed her.

Through her platform, she’s helping individuals break free from:

  • Judgments
  • Body shaming
  • Mockery
  • Corporate politics
  • Bias and workplace abuse

Her coaching blends professional training programs with the irreplaceable wisdom of lived experiences. She equips her clients not just to survive challenges—but to rise, rebuild, and keep moving forward.

Her Purpose, Her Ikigai

Once, she was afraid to speak.
Today, her voice reaches thousands—through podcasts, reels, public speaking, and transformative workshops.

“Wherever I go, whatever I do, my heart always returns to Coaching. It gives me soul-level gratification.”

Her journey is proof that credibility earns attention, and authenticity builds trust.

At Solsaga, we believe her story is more than an inspiration—it’s a movement. She reminds us that learning while life is happening is the surest way to stay relevant, visible, and free.
