With utmost gratitude, we welcome Dr. Antonio González Grez, Solsaga’s new collaborator from Mexico. Dr. Antonio is widely known as the Grezan and is a researcher, educational entrepreneur, and Chilean academic with 18 years of experience in Digital Transformation, Education Innovation, and AI applied learning.
We feel overwhelmed to have him here, as his guidance will help nurture us towards a better future in the Digital World and towards our initiative. Here’s a short glimpse of Dr. Antonio and his progressive Academic background and Editorial Publications.
About Dr. Antonio
Dr. Antonio is represented as an Ed-Tech Innovator, Academic, and Researcher. Talking about his expertise, he is very active in bridging the gap between Startups, Multilateral Organizations, and Universities through his professional development programs, Innovative Projects, and EdTech pilot initiatives in Latin America. He’s currently serving as the Coordinator of the Living Lab at the Institute for the Future of Education. He is a Doctoral Candidate in Education Technology at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili in Spain.
What encouraged us the most about Dr. Antonio is that he’s active across all formats, including the Educational Innovation and Digital Culture Observatory in Spain and the Youth and Adult Education Network in Chile. He holds a Master’s Degree in Competency-based Education and has even advised UNESCO through his digital education policy. He’s also known as LinkedIn’s Top Voices in Educational Technology from 2023 to 2024, and is also a fellow UNESCO-ICDE Chair representative.
His Academic and Consulting Works
His progress doesn’t stop here; in 2025, he recently received the TEC Award for his innovative contributions to transformative learning practices and digital education. Dr. Antonio also has collaborations with several higher education institutions in Latin America, including as a Visiting Professor at the Instituto Politécnico Nacional, a lecturer at the State Technical Training Center of Valparaiso in Chile, and at the University of Chile and the University UDLA.
He has also supported several institutions, including UDPS in Bolivia, ICESI in Colombia, USAT in Peru, PUCE in Ecuador, UCN in Chile, the University of Panama, and Universidad OTEIMA in Panama, as a Consultant and guide for his innovative strategy, curriculum design, digital competencies, and transformations.
Editorial Work and Publications by Dr. Antonio
While discussing his Publications and Works, Dr. Antonio has authored four collective academic books, which are featured in the University of Serville and Tecnológico de Monterrey as academic repositories. His creations captured the perspectives of Ibero-Americans on digital transformations and education innovations. He has also presented at international conferences like the IFE Conference and EDUTEC.
