Our Next honorable guest at Solsaga Founder Series is Miss Karishma Shah, Founder & Principal Designer of KS Studio at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. Interviewing you for the textual interview was really uplifting, as we got to learn about your mission, goal, your vision, and how everything is perfectly synchronized.
During an interview, we asked her a few questions, to which she confidently replied, which shows how visionary she is. The questionnaires and the whole interview were as follows –
Q. 1 – What inspired you to start KS Studio, and what was your vision at the beginning?
Ans. – I started K S Studio with a simple yet strong belief — that good design should reflect the personality and lifestyle of the people living in that space, not just trends. When I began, my vision was to create premium, timeless interiors that blend functionality with elegance. Having started small, with one-room and washroom renovations, I was driven by a desire to bring thoughtful design even to the smallest corners. Over time, that same passion has evolved into curating complete spaces that exude warmth, sophistication, and individuality.
Q. 2 – How do you define your KS Studio design philosophy in one line?
Ans. – Creating refined, functional spaces that speak luxury in simplicity- crafted with detail, purpose, and heart.
Q. 3 – How do you ensure your designs truly reflect your client’s aspirations and personality?
Ans. – At K S Studio, every design begins with understanding — we spend time getting to know our clients, their lifestyle, and what truly matters to them. Through detailed discussions, mood boards, and design walkthroughs, we translate their aspirations into spaces that feel authentically theirs. It’s never about imposing a style, but about curating a space that tells their story with our expertise.
Q. 4 – How does your team maintain creativity and quality across multiple projects?
Ans. – Our strength lies in balance — a structured design process with an ever-evolving creative approach. We brainstorm, experiment, and refine until every element aligns with our design vision and quality standards. No two projects look the same, but each one reflects the same passion and precision that define K S Studio.
Q. 5 – What challenges did you face as a founder in balancing design innovation and business growth?
Ans. – As a founder, the biggest challenge has been maintaining the balance between creative freedom and business sustainability. In design, innovation often means experimentation — but in business, it requires structure, timelines, and budgets. Over the years, I’ve learned to merge the two by building strong systems, trusting my instincts, and never compromising on quality. Every project has been a learning curve, shaping K S Studio into a brand that values both creativity and consistency.
